Instead, Amélie is a character dreamt up by Niina Poskiparta and brought to life by Paris based illustrator Angéline Mélin. Poskiparta wanted a face to launch her online boutique, and came across Angéline’s work, which she immediately fell in love with. After a few initial sketches the template for Amélie was set.
